The CEFEP was created in 1987 within Panthéon-Assas University with the support of major French companies. It offers a space for meetings and exchanges between universities, students and taxation experts: company tax managers and partner practices, magistrates, parliamentary members, and civil servants in national, international and European tax administrations.

The CEFEP runs the 2nd year Masters courses in International Taxation taught by Panthéon-Assas University/HEC as well as 2nd year Masters courses in Taxation Law. It regularly organises debate meetings for its members and public symposiums around major current topics on company taxation.
